Jordyn Hoopes, CMHC Intern

I am very excited to be joining the Nora Mental Health team! I am a second-year graduate student pursuing my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I plan to graduate at the end of 2024. I also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional and Exercise Sciences at Brigham Young University.

My undergraduate courses in Nutrition and Exercise led me to develop a passion in working with individuals who struggle with Eating Disorders and athletes struggling with various forms of performance-related anxiety. This interest led me to pursue a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I have loved my experiences in the field thus far.

I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. With a warm and empathetic approach, I aim to create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. I specialize in providing individualized therapy tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.

Whether you’re facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I am here to offer guidance, empowerment, and effective strategies for overcoming obstacles and fostering positive change in your life.

In my free time, I love to run, play the piano, eat sushi, paint, bake, and spend time with my family.
