Jordyn Hoopes, CMHC Intern

Jordyn Hoopes is very excited to be joining the Nora Mental Health team! Jordyn is a second-year graduate student pursuing her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She plans to graduate at the end of 2024. Jordyn also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional and Exercise Sciences at Brigham Young University. 

Her undergraduate courses in Nutrition and Exercise led her to develop a passion in working with individuals who struggle with Eating Disorders and athletes struggling with various forms of performance-related anxiety. This interest led her to pursue a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and she has loved her experiences in the field thus far. 

Jordyn works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. With a warm and empathetic approach, she aims to create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Jordyn specializes in providing individualized therapy tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. 

Whether you’re facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, Jordyn is here to offer guidance, empowerment, and effective strategies for overcoming obstacles and fostering positive change in your life. 

In her free time, Jordyn loves to run, play the piano, eat sushi, paint, bake, and spend time with her family.
