Tammie Daniel, LCMHC
Tammie received her masters degree in Psychology and Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2017. She has been practicing therapy ever since. She became a therapist because she wanted to help others combat trauma and improve their behavior thus improving self-confidence and self-esteem. Tammie is someone who is caring, compassionate and fun person to be around.
Together, Tammie and her clients will develop a therapeutic relationship and build upon her clients’ strengths by meeting them where they are at currently. She will help them identify an outcome and help them stay focused on that healthy outcome.
Her therapeutic approach is person centered where she will allow the client to identify healthy strategies to improve their situation. She specializes in CBT, so her approach is to help clients reframe their mind and normalize situations they are experiencing. She also specializes in working with families, children, teens and young adults.
She saw that Nora Mental Health has a vision that focuses on the client and their specific needs and goals, so that is what drew her to Nora!
Her hobbies and interests include playing games with my family, crafting and traveling. She is the mother of 9 incredible humans. She adopted 6 amazing kids from the Utah foster care foundation who are all siblings. She has been married for 25 years to her soulmate and the love of her life. She enjoys the outdoors, hanging out and eating good food.
